Day 4 Aegon International Eastbourne Factor 50

Early Morning Warm Up For Genie Bouchard

The 4am alarm call from the seagulls above my seafront hotel made sure I was fit and ready, well ready, for day 4 at Devonshire Park

I stepped out to find  it Hot with sunny blue skies parading Eastbourne in all its glory

Met Judy Murray had quick chat but no foxtrot or Viennese waltz for me as work to do

All the hacks were a bit weary first thing but the coffee soon kicked in and before we knew it centre court was filling up for Eugenie Bouchard v Belinda Bencic

Eurosport’s Croft & Curling and The Sportsdragon

Bouchard retired with an abdominal injury whilst trailing 46 03

I spoke to her at the press conference where she told me she would play at Wimbledon even if it was on one leg

i will play at Wimbledon even if its only on One Leg

The media room became transfixed with Britains Jo Konta playing number 13 seed Garbine Muguruzza which the Brit won 64 46 63 to reach the quarter finals

a hive of inactivity….the media room
